In this study, grown-up daughters told about the death of their aged parent. The archived data consist of 17 interviews conducted between 2002 and 2003. The interviewed women were aged between 35 and 70 years. They were asked how their parents had died, how they had reacted to the death of their parent, and how they had learned to live without the deceased. Further questions charted whether the deceased had suffered from any illnesses and how the practical matters were dealt with after the death. The dataset is only available in Finnish.
