dc.descriptionThis repository contains neural network code written in Python by David Korda. The code was used to classify reflectance spectra of silicate minerals. The results were published in David Korda and Tomáš Kohout, Silicate mineralogy from Vis–NIR reflectance spectra, The Planetary Science Journal, 2024 (doi: 10.3847/PSJ/ad2685). If you want to use the pretrained models, use our online tool. The current version of the code is available on the GitHub repository.
