Latitudinal Biotic Interaction Hypothesis revisited in worldwide honey samples: data and code
Data files and R scripts to reproduce analyses published in Cirtwill et al. (2025) ``The Latitudinal Biotic Interaction Hypothesis revisited'', BMC Ecology.
Data files are all tab-separated .tsv. Taxonomic group (bacteria or plants) and level (ZOTUs, genera, or families) are indicated in the file names. The file 'focal_families.tsv' includes only bacterial families of special interest as described in the main text.
There are two scripts. 'main_analyses.R' performs all analyses used in the main text, plus parallel analyses for genera and families (results shown in SI). 'supplemental_analyses.R' performs all other analyses shown in the SI.
